[email protected] Fake Emails Sent by Scammers Beware

This is a guide for people selling digital items via pages like eBay or Amazon but most important get cash on Paypal account and have a problem with scammers.

I fight with scammers on eBay for half year. Contact Paypal and eBay ofen – looking for solution. Sellers till Today have no idea what to do.

My question to sellers:

Hi, I’m other seller and do some kind of ,,questionnaire”. Can you write me anwser for a simple question ? Did you find any method on Paypal scammers ?

All about scams via Paypal. This company doesnt have seller protect for digital items that because they dont have track ID and if you send all keys etc. via e-mail this isn’t a proof for Paypal. It hurt sellers but you can’t even image how badly.

Let’s say that seller sell witcher III for 30$ and get scammed. Game cost seller 25$

  • Seller lost 25$ for game
  • Seller need to pay ,, adminstration cost” of 15$ for refund a buyer money

Even if game will be worth 1$ there is always 15 $ administration cost !

and this hurts so badly.

http://rocketpost.eu is a digital post that delivery any kind of digital stuff with information about delivery and what is most important – track ID. When we get track id we can easy put this info on Paypal or eBay and sleep well.

If there will be any problem you can easy send to Paypal a recip with delivery information and track ID. Then they can check it on our page if item was delivery to customer.

So far our users are veryfy before they can send items. This took max 24h. Then you can simple put info about you and with simple option send items to customer

ОЧЕНЬ долго не было никакой реакции со стороны Амазона. Сегодня наконец-то пришёл ответ:

Сразу после вхлда в аккаунт продавца тоже пришло сообщение с запросом :

“We are reviewing your Amazon.com seller account. During our review, you will not be able to sell on Amazon.com.

Please ship any open orders. If you have funds in your account, they will be available after any amounts paid for A-to-z claims or chargebacks on your orders have been deducted. This usually takes about 90 days, but funds may be held longer.

You can see your balance and settlement information in the Payments section of Seller Central. If you have questions about those, please send an email to [email protected] .

Please provide the following documents and confirm there is a valid credit card on file:

–Utility bill with name and address visible
–Business license, if applicable
–If you have active listings, include copies of invoices, receipts, contracts or delivery orders from your supplier issued in the last 90 days.

You can send files in .pdf, .png, or .gif format. These documents must be authentic and unaltered. You may remove pricing information, but the rest of the document must be visible. Please send the documents to [email protected] .

Once we receive your documents, we will review them and decide whether you may sell on Amazon.com again. “

Beware Of Fake QR Codes Used By Scammers To Steal Your Data And Money

Know what you scan.

By John Lim — 02 Feb 2020, 01:08 PM

Quick Response (QR) Codes provide a one-stop process for directing users to websites, promotions, phone number, or other information. But scammers have found a way to take advantage of that accessibility.

NST reports that Quann Malaysia, a leading regional cybersecurity firm, has warned of scammers using fake QR codes to steal data and money from users.

The modus operandi involves criminals sticking their own codes over a business’ original ones

Upon scanning the fake QR codes, a scanner may be directed to malicious websites where users key in their information. The information is later used to send phishing emails which could infect the scanner’s computer.

Malicious QR codes can also be used to infect smartphones with viruses, allowing scammers to steal money from mobile wallets and bank apps.

“There’s a rising number of cases where criminals have been sticking their own codes over a business’ original one to steal the scanner’s data or access the scanner’s smartphone to tap into their bank account,” its general manager, Ivan Wen said.

It has been reported that the scam is most widespread at restaurants, where the codes are not regularly changed

Wen told NST that about RM55 million was stolen in China’s Guandong province alone – where QR codes are commonly used.

The firm said the problem with QR codes is that it is impossible to visually differentiate an original code from a malicious one.

In response to the growing problem, China’s central bank has begun regulating QR code spending limits and requiring merchants to obtain a license before they can offer QR code payments legally.

To protect local QR code users from falling into similar scams, Quann Malaysia has listed some precautionary steps:

1. Before scanning the QR code, look out for signs of tampering on the sticker.

2. Pay attention to any pixelated logos or images, as well as spelling and grammar mistakes.

3. Use a secure and reliable QR code app that can flag malicious websites and show the actual URL before scanning the code.

4. Do not key in any personal information after scanning a code.

5. Be wary of scanning QR codes in public places, like bus stops and taxi stands.

As more and more mobile payment platforms look to enter the Malaysian market, it’s very important for us to be cautious. Be careful out there, everyone!

Scammers offer incredible deals on Amazon to swindle money from unsuspecting buyers

Love to shop on Amazon? Then you should beware of scammers that lure customers by providing too good to be true deals. January always brings the best deals for shoppers [1] ; however, this year a new scam type emerged. Recently, a site called Comparitech has investigated a fraudster case [2] about scammers who were using independent seller accounts on Amazon to put non-existent products for sale for unbelievably good price. For example, a fraudster account named ScElegance UK put an LG OLEG TV on sale for £1,317 while it retails for approximately £2,300 on Amazon [3] . Sounds like a good deal? Not at all. After adding the item to the shopping cart, the victim would receive a message from Amazon stating that the item cannot be sent to the selected address and that the problem might be solved by changing the address or buying the item from another seller. Since the deal is incredibly good and it seems that it is a once-in-a-lifetime chance to buy it for such a low price, the victim is forced to look for a way to contact the seller. On the product listing, ScElegance UK provides its contact details – [email protected](.)co.uk. Please remember that Amazon advises users never to pay for an item outside of the Amazon site [4] because such items are not eligible for protection.

However, if the victim contacts fraudsters via provided email and asks for more details about the item, crooks send nicely composed and legitimate-looking phishing emails [5] that look like they are sent from Amazon site. Scammers confirm that the item is new and can be reserved. They justify the low price with an argument that they have a stock liquidation. Scammers command to verify the full name and shipping address and send a separate letter with payment instructions from a fake email address – auto-confirm[@]amazon-payments-support.co.uk while the legitimate and real one is [email protected] The victim is supposed to transfer the cash to someone named Darva Arron. Of course, after making the payment, the victim receives no item and can not request a refund because scammers simply make off.

It is advisable to investigate the seller before making a purchase from it carefully. It is extremely important to read feedback on various forums, also look at the reputation of the seller on Amazon, and be suspicious of sellers with “Just launched” label. However, users already reported cases when scammers hacked legitimate accounts and used them to swindle money from unaware customers. It is advisable to follow your common sense and remember a good old saying – if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
